JODY HORTON and JOY LAMBERT
Genealogical Research at
Cal State Fullerton

“They don’t have any genealogy stuff.”  “I don’t know how to find the library.”  “Parking’s too much of a hassle.”  Our speakers this month will obliterate all of your excuses for not using a significant local resource: the California State University Fullerton Pollak Library .  Directions, campus parking, obtaining a library day guest pass, location of materials, becoming a Patron of the Library--all will be discussed.

Jody Horton has more than twenty years of library research experience, including the past two years at the CSUF Pollak Library in the Serials and Electronic Resources Department.  She has traveled extensively for genealogy research, visiting numerous cemeteries, court houses and libraries.  Jody earned an AA/AS degree from Rancho Santiago College and recently received her Competent Communicator Certificate from Toastmasters International.

Joy Lambert has a BA in Sociology from CSUF and a Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State.  She is a Collection Development and Reference Librarian and a member of the American Librarian Association, Association of College and Research Libraries, and the California Academic & Research Libraries.
