Barbara Renick

Many believe it is impossible to attend a Barbara Renick presentation without learning about at least one new, useful tool.

Barbara teaches people how to "do" genealogy --especially on the internet. She does this through classes she has taught for 25 years, lectures given at national and regional conferences (and to local groups like ours), articles in genealogical publications, books such as Genealogy 101:How to Trace Your Family's History and Heritage (written for the National Genealogical Society's 100th Anniversary), and lots of one-on-one conversations.

Barbara is also a genealogical researcher; a genealogical computing instructor at the Regional Family History Center in Orange, California: the creator of the invaluable Zroots.com ; and a long time member of GSNOCC.

Barbara is famous for her  Zroots.com  link for her students.
