or, Where the Heck Did I Find Great-Grandpa’s Obituary--and Where Did I Put It?
We all know that we are engaged in an endless task--that we will go to the grave with partially-completed family group sheets, unanswered e-mails, and forever-missing 8th-great-grand-uncles. But as long as we’re here, shouldn’t we try to be efficient? To accomplish as much as possible in the time allotted to us? And to give both ourselves and others a few clues as to where our information came from and what we did with it? That’s what Linda Serna will help us do.
After becoming hooked in 7th grade, Ms. Serna has spent the past 15 years as an active genealogist--and mother of six. A puzzle-solver and mystery lover, she has spoken to genealogical and church groups on a variety of topics, including the ties between history and genealogy, and finding clues in genealogical sources.
